We have been selected to attend the pre-Web Summit weekend in a cozy village town somewhere in Portugal in November.
The organizers have scouted start-ups with bold ideas that could eventually go big, so they wanted to give them the chance to network with the right investors - aside from all the normal every day stress and hustle.
In a nutshell, your boys are going to be practicing yoga and surfing with some leaders in the tech industry - right next to some serious talks of course.
āŗ The invitation lead us to put everything on the line: We are quitting our jobs, raise money from friends and family (literally) to be able to:
1.) Show the investors our idea in a working app.
2.) Show initial usage numbers in a growing community.
As this sounded somewhat...too easy..š«... we decided that we will document all of our efforts in a web series.
Jokes, aside, we will be learning so much in this time so we will share these learnings, struggles and moments of success with you.
