GoPro Hero6 Surfing in Japan

With the majority of Chiba Prefecture bordering the Pacific Ocean, it is no surprise surfing is a big part of the entertainment options for travelers who make the trip east of Tokyo. Exploring the surfing vibes of Torami.

I wanted to share with you my test of the gopro hero 6 black waterproof capabilities and give it a run for its money.

Torami beach is a famous spot here in Japan Chiba prefecture for surf. Definitely best during typhoon season as June/July has very low waves

Surf in Japan is popular and torami beach is usually a very crowded surf spot in Japan. Torami beach is close to where they will held the Olympic surfing competition in 2020

Gopro hero 6 2.7k resolution 60 fps (no need for 4k as the file size would be too heavy otherwise)

Did not had the chance to try the gopro hero 6 quick stories feature yet but it would be nice to use when traveling, let me know if you have any experience with the gopro hero quick!

Overall very satisfied with this gopro hero 6 camera. I used to own the gopro hero 2 but the battery did not last any longer, still have the camera.

Bought the goprohero 6 in japan and I am loving the native waterproof capabilities without the need of an external case. It makes the gopro hero 6 video quality look much better (less risk of foggy footage) and using the gopro hero 6 on the beach or underwater is as easy as ever!

Surfboard is a REDZ cookie shaped 5,10 35L bought in Bali

Additional gopro hero 6 settings

► Gopro hero 6 black pro tune: on

► Gopro hero 6 image stabilization: on

► Gopro hero 6 sharpness: medium

Currently working and living in Tokyo and exploring Japan!
