Not all of our poles we can reach with a bucket truck. Most of the time we work with one guy in the hooks and one guy in the bucket. This day we split up in order to get things done a little faster after pulling in wire the day before.
This is a video of me climbing and building some jumpers from the main line to a tap. Yes it is all de-energized and our proper grounding equipment has been put on.
Don't worry about the wrappers I made sure to pick them up after i was done. This pole is a 40 footer that is about 6 feet in the ground.
