Beat Procrastination and Take Action in 5 seconds | Inspirational Vlog #4


In this video, I am talking about the 5 seconds rule, a rule invented by Mel Robbins, that can help you take action and control in your life and combat self-doubt and procrastination.

So how does it work? As Mel Robbins says, “The moment you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will stop you.”

Therefore, whenever you need to take control of your life and act on a decision, just start counting backwards: 5-4-3-2-1 and go!

It's simple and it works! By doing this, you are taking a deliberate action and activating the prefrontal cortex. This pushes you out of autopilot and lets you take control of your life.
