Whenever a person dies, then the right of Pindada belongs to his son. But if you talk to me, Purushottam Shriram, it is said that he did not torture his father Dashrath. In the Valmiki Ramayana, Sita had done the Pindada of King Dasharath and the soul of King Dashrath received salvation. During exile Lord Rama, Lakshman and Sita reached the Gaya Dham to perform Shraddha during patriarch. In order to gather the necessary material for Shraddha Karma, they went towards Shri Ram and Lakshman Nagar.
