I gathered this video from one of my favorite Kitesurfer's instagram, KEAHI DE ABOITIZ (4x Kitesurfing World Champion) @keahideaboitiz. He is incredibly good. This video is a compilation I did to share the love for Kiteboarding and show a little bit about the sport. Sorry the quality is not the best but it kinda tells story about getting to the beach and riding at level you can only wish for .
This video shows many important things like the process of arriving to the beach, inflating the kite, setting up the lines, launching the kite, starting to ride and also it shows how the kkite flies in the air and the moves it does to gain power. The self-launch which is shown in the video is an advanced procedure, at the begining and normally you will launch the kite with the help of a friend who holds the kite until the kiter makes signal to let go and the kite goes up. It's actually very dangerous to sefl launch if you don't know what you are doing or are begginer because you can be lifted up in the air and land who knows where.
As you can see, Keahi's skills are amazing and you can tell this because he is riding in areas with big waves. One of the locations is Pipeline in Hawaii which is normally a surfing spot. This guys is crazy!!
