My thoughts, reactions, and feels about LeBron James joining the Lakers, the last trade veto, and Lakers during free agency. #LakerGang & #KobeGang forever, always have been, always will be. LeBron is no doubt phenomenal, and will definitely help attract (& recruit...) talent to the Lakers since it’s been tough to attract big names during this rebuild phase, and we’ve taken too many L’s in the last 5 seasons.
True, I did lose a ton, if not all respect for him during #TheDecision1.0, saying it’s gonna be EASY to win “Not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7” championships in Miami. That was trash. He learned, took his week to make #TheDecision3.0 low-key at a beautiful $75k/week villa in the Caribbean, and chose the Los Angeles Lakers. AND understandably, he’s always been on Kobe’s direct competitor in the league. I’ve followed LBJ since his high school career and he’s always been a phenomenal talent.
With that being said, welcome to LA LeBron and the WILD WEST, happy to have you. Just don’t be doing anything to F*ck up Kobe’s legacy out here in LA 😂 and let’s get some W’s.
