Find Tree of Savior in Steam Library
Right Click and choose properties
Go to Local Files Tab
Browse Local Files
Go to Release directory
Make sure show file name extension is checked (view menu at top of explorer - check file name extensions)
rename or delete user.xml and user_c.xml if they exist
right click in folder in empty space, create new file, text document
rename first one user.xml
right click in folder in empty space, create new file, text document
rename second one user_c.xml
Now you can restart tree of savior. It may show a waiting for program to respond message but if you hear music then the game should start.
