For me in the European part of the globe, early/mid-autumn are kind of special in a world changing kind of way. The landscape turns golden, the birds are flying south so it becomes very quiet, the insects go dormant, and when the crops are gathered and stored you just relax and get ready for winter. It's awesome to just walk around, listen to acoustic guitar music and breathe in cold air. I'm kind of always excited for autumn somehow. Every season actually, because it's a change of setting.
