music_gnar sin-phony of sound ... new recording from the streets of chicago

well not directly a street performance, but a raw warehouse performance none the less. now all we need is a live audience. Inspired by the sound of the velvet underground's SYMPHONY OF SOUND recording made by andy warhol, @echo-bat and @minedovermatter and i got to gether to create a little recording. minedover matter and I have always been into the velvet undergrounds symphony of sound ever since we saw it in a theater in chicago when we were still teenagers. the velvet underground is new to echo, who played drums in the spirit of Mo tucker in this track. we recorded everything at a low volume, the bass and guitar in one mic, and the single snare drum hit in another. this method of recording is not recommended. we thought there were other people in the building and we did not want to disturb them. it turns out there was no one in the building and we could have been as loud as we want. next time. leave a comment. google andy warhol symphony of sound, and watch it on youtube if you want.
