There are two places on this planet where my soul has left parts behind One os Ireland and the Other is Berlin.
Berlin my beloved City of so many years, lifetimes even. How do you however explain to people that a very deep part of you feels connected to the Pre WW2 and Word War 2 timeline of Berlin. I have been Melancholy the last days and today I ache for the wet streets of a post rainfall 1930-40’s Berlin I can see the cobblestones glistening in the lamplight and almost hear the sounds and feel the humid air on my skin … and yet we all know you can never really go home again as all is fleeting and ever changing but for this moment in time I reach out and give you this a classic and a song I used to sing as a child before i even know what it meant. The track is a standard Karaoke track and in the end not to be taken seriously although maybe a bit more than my usual Karaoke exploits …
