arcade plaza

Sci fi landscape of my youth. Seven pines drive. The bike ride on a gearless childs bike to thornhill public library. The cut across arrowhead creek. I would sit and look at omni magazines as a boy of eight years old. When i remember things like this it seems like the purest science fiction. Almost like envisioning life in 2132. Life in the west county st. Louis suburbs in the the 1970’s. ‘Distant train whistles. Photo falling. Word falling...’ William s. Burroughs wrote about the the subject of the maleability of memory and recall. A radioactivity of remembrance. Best to keep it present moment.
