Meet me in the cosmic sea
I wait for you until
life's color leaks away.
We are the sultry stars,
and we are salt spray.
I sit with folded legs
upon the gently sloping mount;
You are fiery morn,
and I am night's fount.
Your eyes a pearling galaxy,
your voice of boiling cloud
meets my tones of silk & lichen:
We converge as was avowed.
"I wait for you until
the fire's heart turns into frost."
You murmured through the wind,
by the wind your words were tossed.
You stood upon the summit,
The air called you away.
We are the sultry stars,
and we are salt spray.
