Drugwars - Update, Changes, Moving forth’

仁義を切る- A Yakuza Greeting.
When entering the home of a gang boss, the visitor had to stand in the entrance, bend his knees, left hand stretched out, palm up and the right hand at the hip. He then introduces himself in a formal way, asking for a lodging or long-time stay.

Drugwars is changing.

We’ve been promising to bring back the Battles, but as of now we can’t give a defined day as we are working hard behind-the-scene to give you the best Battle feature possible. We can’t stress that enough but we weren’t expecting such an incredible response from the community (5493 accounts now), we aren’t trying to hide behind these words, it’s just a fact but this fact had a huge impact on the smooth run of the game.

As a result, the dev team is now cooking something amazing and powerful but this is also the reason why we are taking longer to bring back the Battles, that we know, you are all waiting patiently and impatiently. The team is working on the client to make it more scalable and more comfortable for the players and above all to make it a bug free platform. We can’t tell too much on this part but take a look below, we promise you won’t be deceived...

Drugwars is moving forth.

We would like to introduce to the Drugwars Community, our new CTO - Fabien. Some of you may already know him as the dev behind SteemConnect or the CTO of Busy.org, and we are glad that he officially joined the team as the CTO. For those of you who don’t know Fabien yet, you should check his blog right here: https://steemit.com/@fabien. Fabien has been into IT since the age of 8, and it has been 23 years now that he hasn’t left this world, instead he is always looking for new technology everyday which is why after finding out about Ethereum in 2015, Fabien decided to dig deeper about the Blockchain and in 2016 he quit all of his businesses to make solutions on Steem.
His work ethic: Fabien is a hard working person, with the mindset to always use all of his capacity to provide the best for the community.

Then what about Hightouch? The former CTO is now the CEO of Drugwars but above all the CEO of Futureshock. You may have read introduction and presentation about him as the CTO of Fundition but it was only a matter of time before he takes on the CEO position. Hightouch vision, philosophy and motivation is what led him to build Fundition.io, OnGame.io, and now Drugwars.io but also to take part on D.tube and SteemStem.io. If you’ve followed his activity you should know that Hightouch always wants the best for the Blockchain world, and especially the Steem Community, and the community can’t thank you enough for the 16h/day for a year, you’ve spent on building the dApps that are now used by thousands of people.
His work ethic: Hightouch is a hardworking person who only wants the best for the Blockchain with the vision to bring mass adoption in a stylish way.

What can you do while waiting?

You should use this breaking time to join a gang, because some gangs are doing exceptional in recruiting, we can only guess that they have an offer you just can’t refuse…

In the meantime, don’t overlook production, use this time to upgrade as much as you can, but also to build new buildings. We’ve heard somewhere that there is one building that is useless…but who knows.

Battles aren’t available but Units are. You better build an army now either to attack once Battles will be available or to protect your Empire, you don’t want some Clowns to attack you...
