Oregon legislature passes bill to decriminalize hard drugs

I would love to see this pass - proponents of this bill believe it will reduce racial profiling, incarceration rates, and drug abuse in the state of Oregon. The bill targets treating individuals who have problem with drugs as patients instead of criminals. This bill would be a very interesting experiment in the very least, it has worked in other counties and I believe it could be a very progressive leap for the rest of the United States.
