Greek mythology collage drawing #11 - 'PEGASUS' (Pencil on paper) by Romaan Namoor.

Pegasus is one of my favourite figures from greek mythology and can't be missed in this serie.
With this drawing I reach #11...

Background info from wikipedia

Pegasus, the winged horse, arose from a love between the gorgo Medusa and the sea god Poseidon. He came from Medusa's blood when the hero Perseus killed her.
His most famous performance is possible in the myth of Bellerophon, Bellerophon and animal of the charts and against the Amazons. Bellerophon recited Pegasus to fly to the Olympus, but the gods saw through the haughty Bellerophon and sent a sting fly, which bit Pegasus under the tail. Pegasus pranced and Bellerophon fell off and died a gruesome death (although on some sources he was saved the goddess Athena).
Pegasus arrived at the Olympus well and became a 'carrier' of the lightning bolts of Zeus.
The horseshoe of Pegasus created the source Hippocrene.
