This is my design for the letter F contest of @ran.koree . It was a fun exercise because this is entirely new to me. I did not expect it will be this challenging. I thought anyone can do this yes they certainly can but there has to be some passion or interest and some knowledge of how calligraphy or street art works. I took it as a challenge for myself to have an experience and force my brain to be creative. That is how we learn we should never be afraid to try. My entry you can tell that I tried a couple of things figuring how I would be able to make sense out of it. I may not be satisfied but I learned something. Here are two photos that I was able to save when creating. Sorry I almost forgot to take some more snaps because I got too busy thinking about my design.
I started with a spray paint effect. I think that is how I should start with this task to give it some of that graffiti vibe to it.
Then I added layers upon layers of doodles and colors. I am happy those random scribbles looked like real foreign alphabets although they are just random lines that I made.
