The Technology That Powers Dporn:
One thing we’ve never mentioned about the Dporn platform is the technology behind it. We use the IPFS - the InterPlanetary File System . This is the same technology behind d.Tube. The concept is based on peer to peer connections., which means instead of hosting a single video/file in single location, Dporn’s servers, the data can be stored by everyone who wants to. When a video is added on IPFS, it is given a hash: a 46 characters long digital fingerprint. Each file is unique, so if the same file is added again then their hashes will be exactly the same and the duplicate is removed. The beauty of the system is the video can still be found on the network just by knowing the hash, even if the site is down. We feel IPFS is the way to go as its cheaper and more scalable.

As we’ve mentioned many,many times our team structure is based on the community. We see this as an open-decision making management which you can read about it here. You are now asking why we choose this? We wanted to build interaction and discussion around the issues that most matter to the community. We feel this BUILDS community the fastest and gives everyone a purpose to build the best Decentralized Porn Platform in the world. It encourages everyone to think what is best for the project and yes, builds the community. This doesn’t mean there isn’t any decisions being made. It still will funnel through the proper channels as the thinking is consensus will bring up the best ideas to the top of decision makers.
Powering Up Dporn SP & Plans Going Forward:
Speaking of decision making we’ve decided to to begin powering up the Dporn steemit account 25 % for 3 months, beginning April 1st. We’ll review how things are going July 1st, and if things are going well, agree on a bonus payout structure, e.g as Buildteam does.
Here is a hypothetical example:
This could be, for example, a quarterly payout of 25% of the SP growth over the previous quarter. The account starts with 100SP and finishes the quarter with 200SP. 25% of the additional 100 SP, is paid out to PornD token holders. This will keep the site going forward and keep the stakeholders happy with their investment into the Dporn platform.

- Voting slider is being fixed ( let people decide how much to upvote )
