Even that figure feels like a drop in the bucket consider overing 1.5 billion people use the app everyday.
Once it's fully rolled out and marketed the number of users will increase tremendously and that's a huge market for Facebook and a potential growth area as well.
Some users hate FB and everything about it but they represent a tiny segment but the mainstream appreciate both Facebook and Whatsapp and that's largely a reason why a cryptocurrency initiative from Facebook has a potential for being successful.
