Nothing can beat their dedication to study every corner of the ocean, plus death is not the worst thing for them. The Cladd warriors believed that when their bodies were dead their spirits would return to the Sea God and their tasks on the ground had been completed.
This belief is the result of the overwhelming spiritual influence of the high officials of the country. Although known for its fleet power, the most respected group in the country is the Cladd magicians.
Among the many leaders of the fleet of the country there is only one person most trusted by the Cladd wizards, an Admiral named Kunkka. Although he comes from a fishing family, since childhood Kunkka has trained his body and instinct in the middle of the sea by hunting whales.
This ability has made Kunkka able to calmly lead his troops into battle in the midst of violent waves. The ocean seemed to be under his command and the God of the Sea always protected himself.
The Admiral was also repeatedly given the task of leading expeditions to various parts of the ocean. Although he did not know what the reasoning behind the expedition was, Kunkka always obeyed the orders of the Cladd magicians.
Their thirst for science has made magicians want to deepen their abilities. Although at first they were noble aims, the Cladd magicians did not realize that their curiosity would be the end of Cladd and its inhabitants.
