This is my version of an apricot. Simple solitary fruit done on a plain white paper. I used soft pastel to color the fruit using a combination of yellow and red. I used a photo filter in red to give the background a different color which in this case turned out to be golden yellow. This is not the intended filter in my plan but I kinda like the result so I will be keeping it as shown here. Sometimes a basic shape or stroke or color can achieve even the unexpected it is just a matter of taking chances and never be afraid to make a mistake.
