***Meet Sammy, the slow one***

Oh sweet little Sammy boy. He is 12 years old and seems to be the slowest of them all. His big body is coated with thick black fur. It weighs him down so much that it is sometimes its hard for him to get up, especially in the mornings. When he eventually gets up, he waddles slowly up to the front of his cage, thinks for a moment or two about going back, and then he finally gets enough courage to make it to the door that is 20 feet away. Slowly but surely, he makes it outside and he is able to sniff the fresh Alaskan air and see if Kali is close by. Kali is his best friend and playmate. She loves to pamper Sammy and give him lots of kisses. When it is time to go back into Sammy’s cage, he will be slower going in than coming out. Somehow when this time comes, he forgets how to walk and you have to help guide him with a push on his behind. Be patient with Sammy, he is just an old grandpa now days.
