Lot of new and also old users have confusion about curation rewards even they are here for a year. I will tell you how curation reward calculated.

Number of votes before you

Curation reward always influenced by how many users have voted on post before you .Most of time you can see curation reward are claimed by the first 5 curators.Some time people thing they upvote immediately after pulication post but that won't work .

Reward Distribution

At 25% of total reward of the post goes to the curators and 75% to the author. THe reversed- auction will determine what % foing to curators within first 30 minutes of publication.

So its all depand when publication is post and when you upvote on the post and how much SBD and voting worth you have at the time of vote First 30 minute is very importent for curation reward if you immedicatly upvote your % is low and if you vote before 30 minute your curation reward is more .
