Breakdown of Drone Video Music Composition with @playitforward

This is a video of me breaking down the drone video music composition I did last year!

My video is at DLive

I was out at the Olympic National Park and other nearby parks of Washington with some friends. We brought a drone (not knowing until after a sheriff pulled by and told us to stop that it's illegal there). We got some good footage before this and wanted to share it. Shot on a Phantom 3 Pro.

The music was scored and all sound added created by myself. I'll be posting a video on how it was made coming up! It's up to 4k video quality, and sounds great on some nicer speakers. If you have the chance check it out at it's full potential.

There was a close call, we almost crashed the drone and over the river! There was a very thin branch hanging over the river that we couldn't see with our naked eyes. The only way we saw it is by getting within about 1 inch of it while flying.

That would have been a severe downer to lose a drone and not have any of this lovely (and I guess Illegal) footage to show you. One of the problems that the sheriff explained is that drones can be hard for nesting or mating birds. They might scare eagles out of their nests and never come back, and might discourage birds from mating due to fear. That being said, you can still use a drone without the propellors on as a steady-cam and walk with it! The propellers are what cause all the problems! All in favor of a consumer blimp-drone camera? Silent flight modes?

Steemians, please let me know what you think of the walkthrough tutorial video!
