My Seconds Get Out of Chu Chi Tunnel, Vietnam

Thumbnail

In Vietnam, I tried to take refuge in a hole that once used Vietcong guerrillas during a war with American troops. Being in a very dark hole, I can imagine how lonely the Vietcong fighters are. According to the tour guides, in the hole, Vietcong fighters could spend days there sheltering from the ambush of American soldiers and troops from South Vietnam.

The Vietnamese fighters (Vietkong) are assisted by the people, setting up the tunnel in secret with complex and integrated networks underground. Inside there is a bedroom, dining room, treatment room, kitchen, and command room. The underground tunnels are well equipped with water channels and air vents. In this area, Vietcong fighters place many traps as traps. There is a pointy bamboo that is ready to stab the intruder who tried to get into the tunnel or iron spear. The tunnel is called Chu Chi Tunnel, and we become a mandatory tourist sites for those who visit Vietnam.
