I'm currently trying to promote some of the amazing peopleand organisations on Steem, to try and show what Steemit can, and should be about instead of the greed and doom that gets all the headlines and next up is .......
@cleanplanet is one of the most amazing initiatives running on the Steem blockchain I believe.

CleanPlanet is a global protocol where “the proof of Human” is used to protect the environment on a world scale.
Basically, you go out with a bag, and pick up litter and then post about it! How simple is it to make this planet just slightly more cared for and protected from ourselves? Just an hour or so of your time, multiplied by everyone and we can achieve so much, with so little effort.
Please go and follow #cleanplanet and give them some upvotes, join in their initiatives and if you can, send them a small delegation to aid them in their work.
Another reason that Steemit is fucking brilliant and really can help to make the world a better place for all of us!!
