Being relatively new to the crypto-community, when deciding which coin/token to purchase, for whatever the intention; whether it be investment or for the service provided, selecting which of all these crypto-currencies to own, imho, the key is diversification.
Like anything, you will not want just one, you will want to stick a few $$$ in & spread them around a bit - while it might be tempting to place all those dollars in one basket, these coins/tokens all do not necessarily move in tandem - you will want to diversify to ease those disconcerting times of the down trends that occur - The upswings are beautiful - So buy low & sell high, & don't forget to diversify!!
Unless you are in for the long term haul, try spreading around some of those $$$ on different exchanges & please pay attention to your trades, transfers & wallet numbers
If you don't get the right wallet numbers for transfers your coins/tokens are gone, lost forever
