It's time to talk about the rewards I get from playing Splinterlands. Last year I described in detail the rewards I received when playing Splinterlands*. Today I would like to continue this series.
In the meantime, the game has evolved in many aspects and there are new tools to help me show you what rewards I have received.
Today I'm going to go over the [Season Rewards from Season 96 and 97], which is [October 2022].
Daily / End of Season Rewards
In the first picture, we can see the past Season 97. I earned 124 diamond loot chests and 16 gold loot chests. My rewards from the loot chests totalled $38,507 and the SPS I received directly from in-game victories add up to $13,57. The red $0.309 is not included because it is the rental expense for this account. I'll go into that below.
In total, I earned $52.08 worth of cards, booster packs and splintershards in Season 97.
In Season 96, I earned 93 diamond and 70 gold loot chests. The chests contained $57,216 worth of rewards. By winning the Ranked Matches, I earned $14,161 in the form of Splintershards.
In total, I earned $71.38 worth of rewards in Season 96.
In total, I earned $123.46 worth of rewards in October.
Stakingrewards
I can stack the Splintershards that I receive as rewards for victories or in the loot chests. This increases my influence in Splinterlands and the more SPS I have staked, the more weight I have in votes.
But I also receive staking rewards in the form of SPS and vouchers for staking SPS. The staking rewards are calculated continuously and I can have them paid out at any time. Currently there is ~29% APR for stakers. The APR decreases the more SPS are staked.
I can only roughly estimate how much SPS and vouchers I received through staking in October, as the documentation is not very easy. But according to my calculations, it must have been around 1900 SPS and around 154 vouchers.
According to the market value of 07.11.2022, I have received SPS worth $102.6 and vouchers worth $45 through staking. So a total of $147.6.
Renting Splinterlands cards
Splinterlands* cards are great for renting and leasing. Over the years, you accumulate a lot of maps, and since I never actually sell maps, I can rent out a large portion of my unused maps.
Using the Kiokizz tool, I can see exactly how many DEC I have earned by renting out cards in a season.
In Season 96, I earned 57111 DEC by renting out cards.
In Season 97, I earned 57627 DEC through rentals.
From this, 5% in fees have to be deducted, so that at the end of 114738 net 109001 DEC remain.
109001 DEC correspond to 101,48 € according to the current price. I should mention that the price of DEC has just risen sharply. In October it was 30-40% lower. Accordingly, I rather earned 60-70$.
So, as things stand today, I made $101.48 in October by renting out Splinterlands cards.
What happens to the money?
Adding up the various rewards and rental income, I earned €372.54 worth of cards and tokens in October. (1$=1€ today)
But what happens with this money? I don't cash it out. I stay invested and reinvest everything else. That means I keep my cards from the loot chests. I open the booster packs myself and most of the SPS I stake. I use the remaining SPS and DEC to buy more booster packs or single cards. A part is also donated to my guilds, the Legendary Dragons and the Legendary Wizards for their expansion. A not insignificant part of the DEC is used for renting cards for myself. Because I still lack some cards when I play that I have to rent extra. Especially for the Guild Brawl I have to rent expensive cards.
Maybe I should think about paying off some of them. But unfortunately there's always a card in the marketplace that smiles at me and wants to be bought 🤷♂️.

Es wird mal wieder Zeit über die Rewards (Belohnungen) zu sprechen, die ich beim Spielen von Splinterlands erhalte. Letztes Jahr habe ich detailliert beschrieben, welche Belohnungen ich beim Spielen von Splinterlands* erhalten habe. Diese Reihe möchte ich heute fortsetzen.
Inzwischen hat sich das Spiel in vielen Aspekten weiterentwickelt und es gibt neue Tools, die mir dabei helfen, euch zu zeigen, welche Belohnungen ich erhalten habe.
Heute gehe ich auf die Season Rewards von Season 96 und 97, also den Oktober 2022 ein.
Daily / End of Season Rewards
Auf dem ersten Bild sehen wir die vergangene Season 97. Ich habe 124 diamantene und 16 goldene Beutetruhen erspielt. Meine Belohnungen aus den Beutetruhen beliefen sich auf 38,507$ und die SPS die ich direkt durch Siege im Spiel erhalten habe, summieren sich auf 13,57$. Die roten 0,309$ werden nicht berücksichtigt, weil es sich dabei um die Mietausgaben für diesen Account handelt. Darauf gehe ich weiter unten ein.
Insgesamt habe ich in der Season 97 also Karten, Boosterpacks und Splintershards im Wert von 52,08$ erspielt
In der Season 96 habe ich 93 diamantene und 70 goldene Beutetruhen erspielt. In den Truhen waren Belohnungen im Wert von 57,216 $ enthalten. Durch Siege in den Ranked Matches erspielte ich 14,161 $ in Form von Splintershards.
Insgesamt erspiele ich mir in der Season 96 Belohnungen im Wert von 71,38 $.
Zusammengerechnet habe ich im Oktober Belohnungen im Wert von 123,46 $ erspielt.
Stakingrewards
Die Splintershards, die ich als Belohnungen bei Siegen oder in den Beutetruhen erhalte, kann ich staken. Dadurch steigere ich meinen Einfluss in Splinterlands und meine Stimme erhält bei Abstimmungen umso mehr Gewicht, je mehr SPS ich gestakt habe.
Aber ich erhalte für das Staken der SPS auch Stakingrewards in Form von SPS und Vouchern. Die Stakingrewards werden fortlaufend berechnet und ich kann sie mir jederzeit auszahlen lassen. Aktuell gibt es ~29% APR für Staker. Die APR sinkt, je mehr SPS gestakt werden.
Wie viel SPS und Voucher ich durch Staking im Oktober erhalten habe, kann ich nur grob schätzen, da die Dokumentation nicht ganz einfach ist. Aber laut meinen Berechnungen müssten es circa 1900 SPS und rund 154 Voucher gewesen sein.
Nach Marktwert vom 07.11.2022 habe ich also durch das Staking SPS im Wert von 102,6 $, und Voucher im Wert von 45 $ erhalten. Insgesamt also 147,6 $.
Vermietung von Splinterlands Karten
Splinterlands* Karten lassen sich hervorragend mieten und vermieten. Über die Jahre sammelt man viele Karten an und da ich eigentlich nie Karten verkaufe, kann ich einen großen Teil meiner ungenutzten Karten vermieten.
Über das Tool von Kiokizz kann ich genau auslesen, wie viele DEC ich über die Vermietung von Karten in einer Season eingenommen habe.
In Season 96 habe ich 57111 DEC durch die Vermietung eingenommen.
In Season 97 habe ich 57627 DEC durch die Vermietung eingenommen.
Davon sind dann jeweils 5% an Gebühren abzuziehen, sodass am Ende von 114738 netto noch 109001 DEC übrig bleiben.
109001 DEC entsprechen nach aktuellen Preis 101,48 €. Dabei sollte ich erwähnen, dass der Kurs von DEC gerade stark gestiegen ist. Im Oktober lag er 30-40% niedriger. Dementsprechend habe ich eher 60-70$ verdient.
Also habe ich, nach heutigem Stand im Oktober 101,48 $ durch die Vermietung von Splinterlands Karten eingenommen.
Was geschieht mit dem Geld?
Rechnet man die verschiedenen Belohnungen und die Mieteinnahmen zusammen, habe ich im Oktober Karten und Token im Wert von 372,54 € verdient. (1$=1€ heute)
Aber was passiert mit diesem Geld? Ich lasse es mir nicht auszahlen. Ich bleibe investiert und reinvestiere alles übrige. Das heißt, dass ich meine Karten aus den Beutetruhen behalte. Die Boosterpacks öffne ich selber und die SPS stake ich zum Großteil. Die übrigen SPS und DEC verwende ich um weitere Boosterpacks oder Einzelkarten zu kaufen. Ein Teil wird auch an meine Gilden, die Legendary Dragons und die Legendary Wizards für deren Ausbau gespendet. Ein nicht unerheblicher Teil der DEC wird für das Mieten von Karten für mich selbst verwendet. Denn mir fehlen beim Spielen auch noch einige Karten, die ich mir extra dazu mieten muss. Vor allem für den Guild Brawl muss ich mir teure Karten dazu mieten.
Vielleicht sollte ich mal darüber nachdenken mir einen Teil auszuzahlen. Aber es gibt leider immer eine Karte auf dem Marktplatz die mich anlächelt und die gekauft werden will 🤷♂️.
