Staff Reporter: Land of the Chuadanga Weekly-2014 inaugurated Protests and conferences were held on Monday in the district administration. Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Masudul Alam delivered the welcome address. District Chief Executive Officer (Acting) Nurjahan Khanam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Khairul Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police of Sadar Circle. Officer-in-Charge of Kalimullah, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wasimul Bari, RDS Tuktuk Talukder and District Awami League Organizing Secretary Munshi Alamgir Hannan, among others, were present on the occasion.
Speaking as the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Ziauddin Ahmed said, the class of land can not be changed without the permission of the government. The illegal encroachment was recovered and the red signboard was hanging. Land documents will be available in the union digital center. Land laws require everyone to read. Land is more loved than life. The neighboring landowners are relatives and disputes arise with them. About 75 percent of the cases are related to this land related issue. E-vowel automation has started. Land owners can apply to sit at home and get a name. The service week has started. We promise not to be harassed. We will be able to monitor this time. The common people are not bad, educated people are bad.
