I would be funny if people didn't take this woman so serious, but Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), a woman who put our national security at risk by hiring Muslim IT spies and continued their employment after she was warned about security breaches, is now claiming the National Rifle Association is "just shy of a terrorist Organization."
The disgraced former head of the Democratic National Committee told the Huffington Post in response to newly-chosen NRA President Oliver North's comments about gun confiscation advocates who were elevated following the February 14, 2018 school shooting in Parkland Florida.
In North's comments, he pointed to the real terrorists and, interestingly enough, they hold the very same position as Wasserman Schultz and the Communist gun confiscation promoting Democrats in her own party.
The Washington Times reports on the exclusive interview with North:
Mr. North said the NRA is now the victim of “civil terrorism” after vandals splashed fake blood on the Virginia home of a top NRA official and other opponents aimed personal “threats” at NRA leaders and members.“They call them activists. That’s what they’re calling themselves. They’re not activists — this is civil terrorism. This is the kind of thing that’s never been seen against a civil rights organization in America,” he said.
The Times went on to report:He said that contrary to claims from gun control activists, the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — which he labeled “a travesty, a failure on the part of the local authorities and unfortunately the FBI as well” — hasn’t fundamentally changed the nature of the gun debate.He said the young survivor-activists who have emerged as representatives for gun restrictions — and as fierce opponents of the NRA — are getting swept up by a broader propaganda machine.
“What they did very successfully with a frontal assault, and now intimidation and harassment and lawbreaking, is they confused the American people,” he said. “Our job is to get the straight story out about what happened there, and to make sure that kind of thing doesn’t happen again because the proper things are being done with the advocacy of the NRA.”
In response to North's comments, Wasserman Schultz said, “The NRA is kind of just shy of a terrorist organization. They have done everything they can to perpetuate the culture of violence that we have in our country with the spread of assault weapons across the nation.”“People that are dying as a result of the infection that is the spread of assault weapons thanks to the NRA are being murdered in cold blood without any cessation or interest on the part of the NRA to do anything about it,” she added.
Well, as we know, "assault weapons" are not being used. Semi-automatic rifles are being used to assault people by criminals, period. The NRA has nothing to do with any of that.
As for a culture of violence, I believe the majority of people who promote violence against the innocent in this country and abroad are tied directly to the DNC.
This continues to come down to demonizing American gun owners and guns in general.
In October, Breitbart reported:
The FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) for 2016 shows more than four times as many people were stabbed to death than were killed with rifles of any kind.And because the category of rifles covers every type of rifle, this means there would be an even greater divide between the number of people stabbed to death versus those shot to death with an AR-15 or similar rifle.
According to FBI: UCR Table 12, there were approximately 374 people shot and killed with rifles of any kind. There were 1,604 people killed with “knives or cutting instruments.”
Table 12 also shows that more people were killed via the use of “hands, fists, feet, etc.,” than were killed by rifles of any kind. In fact, the tally shows that the death numbers were not even close. While approximately 374 people were shot and killed with rifles, roughly 656 people were beaten to death with “hands, fists, feet, etc.”
On September 26, 2016, Breitbart News reported similar gaps between rifle/shotgun homicides and stabbing homicides. UCR figures showed the number of people killed with rifles and shotguns combined in 2015 was approximately 548. Nearly three times that many — approximately 1,573 people — were stabbed or hacked to death.
The only true terrorism taking place is coming from those who attack the God-given rights of the American people that they are supposed to be protecting as part of their oath to the Constitution. In that respect, we should start referring to Wasserman Schultz as "Jihad Debbie."
