So sorry to hear this. Its never too late to reconnect even if the relationship has been rough and rocky. She needs your love now more than ever and you will find it hard to forgive yourself if you dont at least make this one last effort to do so. Many folks out there never get the chance to reconnect and be there in the end before its too late so hug her, cry with her, whatever needs to be done, and I promise you, you will not regret a minute of it.
