At least 9 people have been killed in Colombia collapsing a hanging bridge under construction. More than 5 people were injured in the incident. The bridge was being built to link the Chirajara Bridge in the city of Villavicencio to Bogotá.
In the first film, the Hanging Bridge is 450 meters long after going into the ditch.
The country's Transport Minister German Cardona referred to this incident as Colombia's "tragedy" and said that the exact cause of the bridges would be broken soon.
He also expressed condolences to the injured workers. But during the incident too many workers were not working in the bridge.
Louis Alvarado's construction worker told El Tympo that when the bridge was going broke everyone started crying. But after I hit my head I went later.
Construction officials said that during the accident, more workers were not able to work in the bridge, because the workers were being given the help of protection by the organization.
