Buzzies 2021

It's November which means the second ever #Buzzies awards are coming fast.

What are the Buzzies awards?

The Buzzies are awards for the year's best buzzes on D.buzz (and one non-D.buzz Hive post).

D.buzz is a great short-form platform. When you want to say something without writing a full Hive post or just want to share the beautiful colors of a sunrise, D.buzz is a super tool. So, the Buzzies tries to reward the best of the buzzes.

Please understand, the Buzzies are not "official" with D.buzz. They were started by me (@crrdlx) last year. I'm just a Hive/D.buzz community member doing what decentralization does...if you see something that can be done, then do it. This endeavor is mostly for the joy of it as well as to recognize good work.

How are Buzzies awarded?

Nominations are taken by the Hive community. Link below.
Nominations are voted on by the "Buzzies Academy" or, for the "People's Choice" category, by the Hive community as a whole.

There are four Buzzies categories:

Buzz of the Year - the best buzz of 2021
People's Choice Buzz - the most popular, as voted on by the Hive community. So that the poll is not too long, only five will be included on ~~dpoll~~ [Edit: I decided to go with Google Forms instead.]
Best Visual Buzz - the best image-based buzz
Buzzie for Hive Post of the Year - best Hive post (non D.buzz)

Yes, you can nominate your own work. I would actually encourage you to show off your best stuff. Plus, nominations are anonymous anyway.

January 1-7 - Voting for People's Choice Buzz on ~~dpoll~~ [Edit: Google Forms]. The Buzzies Academy will select winners from the other categories.
January 8 - Announce winners for Buzzies Awards 2021.
