Hello DAPSX community
After launching DAPSX at one satoshi, we received an email from Coinexchange.io requesting us to open a new pairing. We wanted the btc pairing to help the value of the coin to not get affected by external sources.
After discussions on why it would not be a good strategy and why we didn’t want to go that path, they have decided that we should have a new pairing, and will not be giving us an option.
The solution
One of the solutions was to take the walls and let people trade, but we felt it wouldn’t be fair. It would mean that people could manipulate the price with low volume, and we don’t want that.
So what we are going to be doing is opening the ETH pairing.
WHY?
Since we are an ERC-20 token , we think it’s the best to all solutions to start at this pairing.
We want people to trade safely and without the fear of manipulated prices, we think Ethereum is going to be a promising asset in 2019 and has been showing stability lately in comparison with Bitcoin and since Litecoin and Doge follow the same path as Bitcoin, we decided that it would be better to go this path, as it ensures us to have a good trading volume and more opportunities for people to join.
What happen with the people who bought at one satoshi?
Well we have the spreadsheet of the people who bought at one and some even at two, we will give them the difference back in DAPSX. We will send directly to their DAPSX address.
For example, if you bought 100,000 DAPSX at 1 satoshi, we will deposit around 800,000 extra to your balance. This will allow for you to either: a. sell it on the market or b. keep it on your wallet for stakes. We want to ensure that no one feels as they have been getting scammed, and we feel that by doing this, we ensure this from happening.
We could have just said, no, anyone that bought at that price needs to deal with it, but we are not like that. It’s our main mission not about making money, but to help people have an asset with value. It is up to the community to go back to the satoshi prices. If our trading volume is good and we slowly increase our way up, we will finally see the satoshi prices again, which I think is possible.
We will follow up with an update on steemit with information regarding the proof of us sending DAPSX to every single wallet that bought DAPSX at satoshi prices.
