My observation and position as regards whether dlike is a spam website.

It is quite understandable that people might probably get your point of view on a particular issue wrong base on the fact that they hold a different perspective on the same issue. But does that change the fact that your position is wrong? Or perhaps does that make the thing you believe in worthless or irrelevant due to their position?

That is just to confirm the test that two people may have a different point of view on the same thing, for instance, where a rounded object (which one part is black and the other is white) was placed in between two people. They were asked what is the color from the both ends. They gave a sincere and honest answer but their opinions were conflicting. It was later revealed to them that their opinions were right but conflicting, due to how they viewed it from each angle.

To this end, I would like to debunk the opinion or perhaps the rumors flying in the air to which some people believe that dlike.io is a spam website. Categorically, I do not subscribe to this school of thought whatsoever the reason maybe. It is just so shallow and there is no basis/premise to conclude that the website is a spam.
Dlike is a decentralized application built on the steem blockchain and it is model after pininterest, Reddit and other social media platforms. It is neither a plagiarized or a spam website as insinuated by the steemcleaners. And here are my thoughts to that;

Technically, the website is designed to grab and crawls data from the source of the article which outrightly makes it not a plagiarized content(s) since it was not written by the users. But it has been shared and linked to the source of article. Indirectly, it is also not a copied work since the user did not write or jolted anything down word for word as found from article source.
Also, since we are aware of the fact that this posts are not ‘proof of work’ to certain extent. We have some measures in place to blacklist users who intend to spam the website with articles that are not properly sourced. Meanwhile, we contribute to the steem blockchain via this means; base on the fact that STEEM blockchain is a social and interactive platform. We intend to increase the number of engagement thus, we vote on more comments than posts. Since, comments generated are ‘proof of brain’.
There is a cap limitation to how much can be earned with a post on dlike. That is, the post payout is pegged to a certain amount. In order to control reaping the reward pool.

Base on these forgoing, we have reached a consensus with the steemcleaners to add a decline of payout to the option of publishing a content on dlike website. And to add at least a paragraph to the preview of the post before publishing to the blockchain.

Conversely, someone may say would my actions still be the same assuming I am not directly involved in dlike? My reputation and image is very important to me, thus, I would stand up to speak either I am connected to dlike or not.
We would like to sincerely appreciate the opportunity and fear hearing the steemcleaners gave to us yesterday on their discord server. Sincerely, we must say that STEEM is the best.
Thank you!

Yours, @mediahousent blockchain host and STEEM enthusiast
