Under my sleeping bag, I hear people stirring, the generator will be fired soon, and lights will come on in the kitchen, I will pull on my layers and begin another day of work in support of water protectors.
The original people of this movement are still here, many of them, the first people arrested for prayer, the people who asked us to come here still benefit from my support, I am doing good work to support this movement, kitchen work, and my new title, shopping assistant, giant pot of stew, all day.
