Dungeons & Back to Square One

We decided to reboot our D&D campaign. The last one was put together much too hastily and the group had way too many holes to keep afloat. After a few people, including myself expressed their concerns, we decided our best course of action would be to scrap the campaign and start from scratch.

Tonight we spent most of our time creating characters and establishing a good reason why everyone was together. The group decided that they were all street urchins that turned into a group of thieves and con artists as they got older. So everyone is a life long friend who have been through many hardships together. This made me much happier than trying to wrangle four individuals around who really didn't care about each other.

I will have to start out a new story from scratch but I'd rather be happy with the group dynamic than try to piece the previous session back together. I'm interested to see where this new campaign takes us and hopefully everything goes a bit smoother than last time.
