Play time was later tonight. We didn't get home til about 6:30, so I was rushed. That's why the previous post (the harvest one) was so quick.
Here's a better picture of the small play pen the girls have. The big chickens showed a lot more interest in the chicks today. Turkey was quite vocal about her opinions, being sure to squawk loudly every little bit.
The chicks got to observe the big chickens' evening routine of going in the coop. After sundown the chicks huddled up between the feeder and waterer and chirped like they were nervous. It's weird that their sounds are discernable. They're inside napping now after getting some mealworms for a treat.
