Cryptocurrency Mining Causing AMD Radeon/Nvidia Graphics Card Shortage

AMD Radeon graphics cards are in being shortage due to crypto mining. Nvidia also faced the same problem and informed it's retailers to sell only two graphics cards to a same person. But AMD company told that it's ramping up it's production to meet the requirements of their customers.

Dr. Lisa Su ,AMD CEO and president says "cryptocurrency mining market is consuming a lot of GPUs. It’s a good part of our business."

Both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards has huge/high demand for Graphics Card. And it' all because of crypto mining like bitcoins and ethereum. Last Aug AMD launched RX Vega series (Vega 56 and Vega 64) which has been sold out. Even for custom model of same GPUs, TechSpot reported, “Getting your hands on any one of them is next to impossible.”

AMD is trying to help crypto miners increasing their production as this has increased their earning to 34 percent previous year. And it's competitor Nvidia is advising it's retailers to help gamers and preventing crypto miners to buy all the graphics cards.

As they both used to produce graphics card for gamers, Nvidia continued helping gamers but AMD is focusing crypto currency miners. Both companies are good in their own view.
