Dramatic day for new token: AppCoins

Appcoins (APPC), a new ERC20 token, launched on exchanges today with a volatile start.

Anyone who has used an Android device for a streaming box or as a mobile device may be familiar with Aptoide, the Google Play Store substitute that is an entryway for downloading and installing apps. Aptoide has launched an ERC20 token called Appcoins (APPC) on exchanges. It is currently trading on Binance, paired with BNB, ETH, and BTC.

For now, it appears to be a Binance exclusive. Upon launching on Binance, the coin plunged in value from its beginning price of $3 USD, briefly dropping by more than 80% of its initial price. Recovering rapidly, the coin now stands at a value of around $3.50. It has experienced an extremely volatile beginning and those who were in on the action early either lost or gained a bunch, depending on which side of the trades they were on.

Appcoins will be used as a currency for in-app purchases, for rewarding attention to advertising, and for tracking app developer quality. In Q1 2018, Aptoide will be launching a beta version of Aptoide with Appcoins support. For further details on the coin, check out the official website.

Over the next few days and weeks, Appcoins will likely be listed at other exchanges and should grow in popularity and demand. It is not yet listed on coinmarketcap.com nor on worldcoinindex.com, so it could be a good early buy at the moment.
