Many people are being robbed by this site - beware - they steal your cryptocurrency and there is nothing you can do about it.
With the craze in bitcoin and so many transactions going on right now, many alt coin exchanges are bogged down. Most of the top currency exchanges are slow due to heavy traffic. Many people are experiencing delays into hours, days or months.
Some sites are locked up entirely and even customer support takes up to three months to reply.
Someone tried to hack into my account on one of the top cryptocurrency exchange sites so my account was locked for my safety. Unfortunately I had just changed my phone contract just days earlier. Without my old phone, I cannot get back into my account normally.
So I had to go through the id verification process. Every time I try, after hours of waiting, I get a message telling me that their networks are too busy and please try again in 30 minutes. It has been weeks now.
I opened up accounts on two other top exchanges and ended up with the same type of response. The network is to busy, please try again later.
So I was looking for a new exchange to trade my steem dollars into USD.
I found https://www.cryptoexchang.com/ on page one of Google search results when I typed "ethereum to paypal".
This website claims that they can convert the top currencies to your paypal, moneygram, western union and other exchange sites.
I checked them out a bit to see if they were legitimate. The website looks very professional. They have videos promoting their company. They even have a real physical address and phone number.
There are testimonials all over the site and online telling how great they are.
And hey, if you are on page one of Google search, then you have worked hard to get there. I should know, my previous life was SEO (Search Engine Optimization) work for companies in NYC.
But, after further digging, I find that this company is a fake. I know people who lost crypto on this site.
They are a ripoff.
They take your money and you can do nothing about it at all.
Beware of this company.
