Blockreward: Paid Surveys, Videos, Apps, and Quests

I’ve been trying the Get-Paid-To site Blockreward for a while now. They offer a lot of tasks to earn a bit of crypto by completing. I’ve tried most of the task categories by now.

Paid Survey Offers

First is the paid surveys. Blockreward has a lot of current surveys, and new ones seem to popup regularly. I haven’t yet run out of surveys (like I quickly did on StormX). The rewards vary a lot, but seem quite fair for the work. It’s just answering questions where you need no prior research or knowledge, so the rewards aren’t especially high. Higher that most other legit survey sites, in my experience though. You won’t qualify for every survey, but even for the ones your are not qualified to complete, you get a tiny reward for. They are right now running a bonus program that increases the reward for surveys by 25% extra, which is definitely appreciated.

Paid Video Offers

I tried watching videos through their partner Loot.tv and while the process of registering and watching videos was smooth, the earnings are very low. Keep in mind, this earnings option only requires you to watch videos and ads, so there’s basically no work involved.

Watching on Loot.tv earns you points on the Loot.tv platform, and these points can then be redeemed into RP points on Blockreward. The conversion rate is 10 Loot.tv points equals 5 RP Blockreward points. For each video with ads that I watched I was paid 2.5 Loot.tv points, and the videos are typically 2-4 minutes long.
Roughly calculations give that if you watch 8 hours of videos, that earns you 400 loot.vt points for those 8 hours. This translates into 200 RP, which is redeemable on Blockrewards for a value of $0.20 in your chosen crypto. This is under the assumption that you’ll get ads and points for each video, which might not always happen. You’ll not get rich by watching videos, but as they require no work, just leave them running in a separate browser window so you can do other tasks while watching them.

Paid App Offers

Blockreward offers quite a lot of apps, mainly games, which does earn you a bit more rewards. The games are not hard to complete, they’re just full of ads and takes a bit of time. If you’ll just play them during your breaks at work and on commutes, they provide at least a bit of fun in addition of the reward. Personal favorites include match three game Ocean Fruit Park (rewards roughly $2 upon completing) and Brain Test 2 (roughly $0.4 upon completion).

Most games were decent fun, but I’ve hade problems with getting paid for several apps, so I cannot truly recommend this offer category.

Quests

Other than these pure paid tasks, they have daily, weekly, and monthly quests, such as earning 1500 RP in a day. Doing these quests, you’ll get some extra RP on top of the already earned RP points. There are also task specific quests, such as completing 5 surveys, which nets you another 100 RP extra.

They also do a Bonus Sunday, where their Twitter followers will get a promo code for free redeemable for up to 100 RP each Sunday.

Withdrawal & Issues

As a GPT site, I believe they manage to balance the fair rewards with a fair amount of work. Of course, one always wants rewards to be higher, but their rewards are quite fairly priced. Also, there’s quite a lot of content to work through, which is great.

The withdrawal process was easy and I had no issues withdrawing my total reward of $3.00 to my Uphold wallet. Though I had problems with getting credited for some tasks that I finished.

Having the issues with getting paid for several apps did leave me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

I followed their instruction and completed the requirements. A few games I got a payout from and other games I didn’t. When I contacted their support to solve this issue, I just got a response telling me that they weren’t going to credit me and as a reason they simply sent me a long list of all different possible reasons (none of which I felt was appropriate). If there’s an actual reason for this, I’ve no problem accepting this. But they failed to specify what I didn’t fulfill, and having lost quite a bit of free time completing the app offers makes me feel like I completely wasted my time.

I really like the website as it’s smooth, good-looking and well-designed, but if one cannot be sure to receive the rewards for the tasks one completes, the design choices kind of doesn’t matter. Personally I’d choose another GTP platform, but maybe you have better luck with Blockreward.

Happy crypto hunting!
