So when I tried to pay for a VPN for my home IPFS node, I just made a payment error that I don’t understand, and I lost $10 USD in Bitcoin Cash :(
Just to be safe when not using a payment protocol like BitPay’s BIP-70:
- Send the smallest amount possible to check that everything works.
- Don’t send BCH to a BTC address (or vice versa). Make sure you triple check 😉
- NEVER submit payments directly from exchanges!
