The latest news reporting coming from most mainstream media regarding Cryptocurrency has been somewhat negative of late. Recently, some of the world's richest and most successful men, Buffet and Gates, have come out with strong statements against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Also, the US government, through the SEC, has been scrutinizing cryptocurrency with Ethereum and Ripple being at the forefront of this supposed inquiry.
Ripple is currently being sued in a class action lawsuit claiming that it Ripple made money through the sales of their XRP token. The lawsuit further claims that these sales were illegal since they violated US securities laws and regulations. There is speculation that this lawsuit is a smear campaign decide to hurt Ripple's (XRP) price, and maybe even to put it further under the spotlight of the SEC as well.
Regardless of whether this Ripple lawsuit has merit or not, there is positive news for the now #10 cryptocurrency on Coinmarketcap, which is TRON (TRX). It seems that the ERC20 token called TRONIX will soon be releasing its mainnet next month. Currently, TRON is using the Ethereum network as its testing bed, but by using their own blockchain also called mainnet, they then will be essentially on their own. With this upgrade, Tronix will then be able to further support new smart contracts or coins under its own network, much like what Tron Dogs are currently. Tron Dogs are similar to Cryptokitties.
Tron has recently jumped in ranking on Coinmarketcap landing now at #10 by market capitalization. According to its founder, Justin Sun, he claims that next with next month's successful launch of their mainnet, Tron will land on the #6 spot on Coinmarketcap.com and possibly higher. With support from trading exchanges like Binance.com, which recently came out stating that they will support and facilitate all needed changes for Tron Mainnet, the Tronix token should have its moment in the, ahem, Sun very soon, possibly leading to a mega-Tron like rally.
Or not, so don't take this as any type of advice, much less trading advice. Consider this more like the delusional ranting of a cryptomaniac.
