This story continues to both fascinate and disgust many. Bitconnect and its platform continues to surpass the expectations of many, especially its detractors. There are many who believe that Bitconnect and its business model is a scam and a ponzi scheme. Then there are the many who believe that Bitconnect has found a way to make a profit, for itself and its token holders/investors, while riding this Maverick Wave called Crypto-currency.
Starting October 31, 2017, one of the biggest exchanges in crypto-currency, Hitbtc, will start trading Bitconnect tokens. This will put the true BCC coin in the "Big Leagues" with other crypto-coins such as the grand daddy Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Dash. Currently, Bitconnect's $1.7 Billion Dollar Market Cap. puts it in 9th position overall, but it could easily find itself climbing into 6th position should the market take kindly to this new entry.
The Bitconnect company recently celebrated its 1 year anniversary with a "Yuge" party and event. The highlight of the event was the Lamborghini Huracan gift to Bitconnect's top promoter. They also unveiled a new smart card that accepts crypto-currency deposits, such as Bitconnect Coin, and yet functions like a bank debit card for purchases.
Bitconnect will also be hosting a Yacht Party in Santa Clara, CA at the end of November. This will be an exclusive event for those 150 lucky members to have RSVP'd for the Black Tie Yacht Party. There, they will get to meet and party with the Famous @craig-grant and @trevonjb . If you didn't get your spot on the yacht, you can still catch the Bitconnect Team at the Santa Clara Blockchain Expo booth they will be hosting November 29th and 30th.
And finally, on the rumor/speculation side, I just ran into this on wwww.coinmarketcap.com and saw that there were some trades for Bitconnect coin (BCC) on the Bitfinex exchange, which does Not currently trade the BCC coin. I thought this was strange so I also looked at the available markets on Bitifinex (via the coinmarketcap website) and saw Bitconnect coin listed at the very bottom. I then looked on the Bitfinex website itself, and also saw that they did have a bcc/btc listing, but I am not sure if it means bitconnect coin. They do recognize BCH as well as BCU, so not sure what other BCC there could be. Anyway, the facts are that hitbtc will be trading BCC in the next day or so, and this leaves the door open for other possible exchanges to jump on board as well.
