Forbes has published this week the first ranking of the richest people in cryptocurrencies, the 'Crypto Rich' list. A compilation of the 19 people who have been enriched by the bubble of virtual currencies, which have already achieved the fortune of millions of dollars miles overnight.

Currently, there are about 1,500 crystallographic assets, valued at just over half a billion dollars. Although cryptocurrency prices continue to fall, they have had an important impact on the markets and pockets of the most prepared.

According to the list, Chris Larsen, a veteran technology executive and founder of Ripple, tops the list. When Forbes published the classification -based on the prices of January 19, 2018-, Chris Larsen was at the head with a wealth that hovered around 8,000 million dollars (more than 6,500 million dollars).

Finally, the number five of the 'Crypto Rich' of Forbes is occupied by Matthew Mellon, an individual investor with a net worth of between 900 and 1,000 million dollars.

Thus, the 19 majors in virtual currencies accumulate a total of 26.400 million dollars, of which only the first five are smaller than half (64.7%) of 17,000 million dollars, as it is clear from this list.
