Airdrops and giveaways are often used as marketing tactics by new (and sometimes established) coins to increase public awareness and usage of their currency. Some may not be worth anything in the future, but may be successful and be very rewarding to early adopters. The eBTC tokens have been worth over $1,500 to lucky claimers (I claimed but did not receive my tokens, so I'm glad when dev's have a public spreadsheet). Some airdrops such as POW token are worth 100’s of dollars now. So here’s my list for October 2017!
In order to be transparent with these, I’ll be including requirements of each airdrop and indicate if the link is a referral one.

Faucets give you free satoshi but most of the time they’re not worth your time. Here are the only three that I still use.
