Kim Jong-Un, The leader of North korea
has ordered his military officials to build more missiles, develop more nuclear arsenal
and collect as much Bitcoin and Ethereum as possible through hacking and mining.

Just like everybody else, Kim got interested in cryptocurrencies As bitcoin's prices and popularity increased.

South korea is one of the busiest trading hubs for cryptocurrencies and the Seoul-based Bithumb
is the world’s biggest exchange for ethereum.
Therefore His Hackers attacked at least three South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges recently as this image shows.

In May,a Seoul-based exchange Yapizon lost more than 3,800 bitcoins (worth about $15 million at current rates)
and they are said to be behind this theft.

These guys are also said to be behind the hacking of
Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2014 and the attack on Samsung’s corporate messenger app in 2016.
According to one report, They also attacked a bitcoin news website and collected bitcoin ransom payments
from global victims of the malware WannaCry.

So With lack of state control and their secretiveness, North Koreas is seeing cryptocurrencies as a
low-cost solution to bring in hard cash.

At the moment they are targeting South Korea but in the future they might attack others as well.
