Why I'm Dumping Everything I Have Into Ripple

Ripple

- Ripple is currently the 3rd largest cryptocurrency, with over $34 Billion in market cap

- It has the most real world backing, with several major financial institutions using it

- It is currently the best available investment in the digital currency world

Until lately, my cryptocurrency portfolio has been focused around Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. I have never made significant investments outside of these coins. But now, that's changing. Enter Ripple.

Real World Utility

The major criticism against Bitcoin, among most cryptocurrencies, is the lack of real world use. It's a valid point, the prices are primarily driven by speculation at this point. A pair of economists calculated Bitcoin's true value according to it's usage as actual currency - the value was a measly $20 a coin.

The point being, Bitcoin is driven by speculation and the whims of the market, with relatively little real world value. Ripple, is the opposite. It has real world usage, and is picking up traction fast.

Major Companies Are On Board

Major players in the financial market are jumping on board. Take UBS for example, one of the world's largest investment banks. They have adopted the usage of Ripple through a public partnership, and now use it for international transfers.

But UBS is just the tip of the iceberg. Other high profile backers include UniCredit, American Express, Royal Bank of Canada, Santander, and LianLian, one of the largest financial players in the growing Chinese market.

This all adds up to one thing; real potential with concrete value. Of all the cryptocurrencies, Ripple has the highest potential and the least vaporware.

So what do you guys think? Will you be investing some money into Ripple?
