Exodus Wallet : How to Transfer your claimed EOS out of MEW (If you want)

Hello Steemians,

Exodus Wallet added Aragon (ANT) and EOS (well.. EOS) Token storage wallets to their availability of assets that you can now transfer in and out of as well as exchange internally through their Shapeshift integrated software. The change was made on the 6th of July and requires you to update their software to verison 1.29.1

I had recently claimed a small amount of EOS from their contract process and decided to explore the process of this new avenue of flexibility with the new Token.

If you haven't already done so, you should add the EOS token to your available assets in MEW by using their Add Custom Token function within the browser interface. Once available, you simply Send Ether and Tokens through MEW to your Exodus EOS wallet address.

The tokens will transact over the blockchain and you will receive them rather quickly, which I received in under 1 minute:

Within the new Exodus wallet you also now have the ability to exchange other assets for EOS tokens directly, very easily and with a simple process from their GUI, allowing you to avoid the complicated Token Sale distribution currently going on:

As the market has currently seen an extended downturn, many long term HODL investors like myself see this as an excellent opportunity to pick up options that we are interested in at a discount. With EOS Tokens currently valued less than 2.00 USD, I felt this was a great oppurtunity to pick up some more of these tokens for a project that I am fully interested.

Exodus Wallet continues to add assets to their software wallet on a frequent basis and is becoming, in my opinion, a great way to quickly move your crypto from place to place.

NOTE: Please remember that user-controlled encrypted wallets like MEW are a much safer platform for long term storage of your assets.

Let me know what you all think of this new adoption.

Keep mining.
